In April, 1995 International Freight Systems (of WA) LLC began operations as an international freight forwarder and customshouse broker on 2 card tables, a refurbished phone system, a typewriter, a used copy machine, a basic PC and a credit card. Today International Freight Systems (of WA) LLC is a full service logistics provider. The Company has evolved through many years of direct experience in the international freight forwarding and customs brokerage industry.

The card tables have been replaced with desks and the basic PC is now a complete computer network system which enables us to communicate electronically with U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Fish & Wildlife, Food and Drug Administration and The  U.S. Department of Agriculture. It also allows us to communicate directly with the steamship lines, all major airlines and our worldwide agents efficiently and economically.

Originally transportation specialists we quickly recognized the need to provide a total logistics package for our customers. Consequently we now offer a comprehensive portfolio. Services include international and domestic freight forwarding, customs brokerage, warehousing, distribution, insurance, free quotations, freight auditing, consultations, packing and crating, letters of credit and on-line tracking.

Our objective is to enable our customers to have a single source, full-service transportation provider which will enable our customers to greatly improve ordering, inventory management, accounting and related transportation and distribution functions. We are, in a sense, an extension of your traffic department.

Our philosophy is based on service. Whether you are a one-time shipper or an on-going customer we will guarantee the best service in the industry with a personal one-on-one relationship.
